Whether you are learning English (ESL/ELL), finishing high school (GED),pursuing your first college degree or earning an additional degree, our programs offered in the evening can help you to reach your goals.

Evening courses are available Monday through Thursday between 4:30pm and 10:00pm.

The following programs can be completed by taking only evening courses:

Adult Basic Education (ABE) / General Education Development (GED)

Students who desire to improve their basic academic skills for work, further study or daily life may enroll in classes through the ABE or GED programs. There is a $25 nonrefundable charge for each class. Need-based waivers are available. For more information, click here.

Associates of Arts

The Associates of Arts degree is intended to prepare students to transfer to bachelor’s degree programs in a wide variety of fields. The Associates of Arts degree corresponds to the first two years of a four-year baccalaureate degree program. Most transfer students plan to earn this degree. Associates of Business

This specialized Associates of Arts degree is designed to help students meet the requirements for entry into the Business major after transfer. This Major-Related Program (MRP) degree meets the guidelines for the DTA of the ICRC. For evening course offerings, click here.

English as a Second Language (ESL)

ESL classes for immigrants, refugees and others who want to learn the English language are offered each academic quarter at various locations, both on and off campus. There is a $25 nonrefundable charge for each class. Need-based waivers are available. For more information, click here.

Paralegal, Associate of Applied Science

This Associate of Applied Science degree is designed primarily to prepare students for successful employment in the Paralegal field. Though some transfer options are available to holders of an Associate of Applied Science degree, the degree is not intended to transfer. For evening course offerings, click here.

Pre College Studies

Highline offers pre-college level courses in reading, writing, study skills, arithmetic and English language skills for students who want to gain, or improve, their academic skills. For evening course offerings, click here.
